Swimming with Dolphins, Manatees or Stingrays
The animals encounter at Xel Ha Park lets guests swim with them. The ages required by law for the activities consists of minimum 5 years. The Park continues to offer an ongoing rescue and conservation programme for the animals. These friendly aquatic mammals are very intelligent and noble. For 40 minutes it will be possible for you to get to know them better and interact with them. You can also feed them and be in close contact with these gentle creatures. To ensure your space, be sure to book this optional activity upon arrival at the ticket office and thus choose the time that best suits your plan for the day at Xel Ha Park and make the most of it.
As part of covid-19 protocols, some of these activities may not be available at the moment.
How do the passport stamps work?
The passport stamp is a wrist band that you carry during your staying at the park. There are a few features on this wrist band. For starters, it gives you access to towels and snorkeling equipment, which are included in your all-inclusive package. Second, if you do not return the equipment, it serves as your deposit. It can also be used to take pictures at various points throughout the park. When you arrive at a photo location, you scan your wrist band at the station and wait for the camera to take your picture.
At the end of the day, you can buy one or all of the photographs. This is a great feature for guests who want to go swimming but don’t have a waterproof camera or a protective pouch. It’s also entertaining for kids to collect stamps and photos at each location, sort of like a scavenger hunt. If you don’t have a waterproof phone case, you should get one. It will shield your phone and personal items (such as credit cards and identification) from water and sand damage.
